“Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.”

Parasailing, also known as parascending or parakiting, is a recreational kiting activity where a person is towed behind a vehicle (may be a jeep, truck or a boat) while attached to a specially designed canopy wing that resembles a parachute, known as a parasail wing.

‘Open the wings of freedom and make your dream true of flying in the air’.

A parasailing demonstration and participation programme was conducted in the school on 8th January, 2019. A good number of students participated in this activity which was organised by the Squadron Leader SPS Kaushik, Instructor for Skydiving and parasailing (Ex- Armed Forces)

The children had a significant experience, achievement and the emotions they had were a concoction of fear, excitement. The demonstration of Parasailing made the children realize the potential, though parasailing might seem like no big deal to some, but for those who experienced it, they felt it was an amazing adventure. It showed  just how much the children can push themselves to do something.

The main aim for the demonstration was to motivate students to build up their confidence and concentration resulting in better performance in life, to encounter stress by creating lively atmosphere and to remove Acrophobia (fear of height).
